Bob The Cow began sending weekly comics by email in late 2020. What started as a simple weekly comic eventually became much more than that, with the launch of the Bob The Cow website and books, games, movies, and more.
After five years of weekly comics, the schedule changed in late 2024. Instead of publishing new comics every week, Bob The Cow moved to a monthly schedule. This change allowed more time to work on each comic while still keeping new installments coming on a regular basis.
By mid-2025, however, regular Bob The Cow comics were discontinued altogether. The final regularly scheduled installment was published in June 2025, marking the end of an era that had lasted for almost five years.
This does not mean that Bob The Cow is gone. Occasional new comics will still be made and published from time to time, but there will no longer be a strict weekly or monthly schedule.
And while the regular comic schedule has ended, there is still plenty of Bob The Cow content to explore. Three years' worth of previously unreleased comic archives from 2019-2021 have been added to the website, giving readers a large collection of older comics that had never been publicly available before.
In addition, a huge collection of Bob The Cow comics has been compiled into The Complete Bob The Cow, a treasury containing every comic ever published. The collection serves as a complete record of Bob The Cow's comic history, from the earliest installments through the end of the regular series.
The end of regularly scheduled comics is therefore less of a complete ending and more of a change in how Bob The Cow operates. Comics are no longer the only focus, and new ones will appear when the time is right. Movies, shows, and other Bob The Cow projects are still being produced, so the end of the regular comic schedule does not mark the end of Bob The Cow itself.
After nearly five years of weekly comics, followed by several months of monthly installments, the regular series has come to a close. The archive remains, the complete collection is available, and Bob The Cow itself continues. There may not be a new comic every week or every month anymore, but Bob The Cow is not finished.
